AMTUL SUJNI – Return & Refund Policy

At AMTUL SUJNI, every Sujni product is handcrafted by skilled artisans and is produced in limited quantities or made-to-order. Because of the handmade nature of our products, each piece may have minor variations in colour, texture, weaving, pattern placement and finishing. These variations are a natural characteristic of authentic handmade Sujni and are not considered defects.

We encourage customers to carefully review the product description, measurements and size information before placing an order. If you require a custom size, colour or other customization, please contact our team before placing the order.

1. Made-to-Order & Customized Products

Most AMTUL SUJNI products are made-to-order or produced in limited quantities.

Because production may begin specifically for your order:

  • Made-to-order products are generally not eligible for return or exchange.
  • Customized or personalized products are not eligible for return or exchange, except where the product has a verified manufacturing defect or does not materially conform to the specifications confirmed by AMTUL SUJNI.
  • Customization may include size, measurements, colour, design, fabric, thread, finishing or other specifications agreed with the customer.

Customers are responsible for providing accurate measurements and customization requirements.

2. International Orders

Due to the nature of international shipping, customs procedures, import duties, taxes and the environmental impact associated with international returns, AMTUL SUJNI generally does not accept returns or exchanges for international orders.

However, if an international customer receives a product that is materially defective, damaged in transit, incorrect, or materially different from the specifications confirmed at the time of purchase, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

We will review the issue and, where appropriate, offer a reasonable solution such as:

  • Repair or correction
  • Replacement
  • Store credit
  • Partial refund
  • Full refund

The remedy will depend on the nature and severity of the issue and the circumstances of the order.

This policy does not affect any mandatory consumer rights that may apply under the laws of the customer's country.

3. Orders Within India

For orders delivered within India, AMTUL SUJNI generally does not offer returns or exchanges on made-to-order or customized products.

If a product arrives with a major manufacturing defect or significant damage, the customer must notify us within 48 hours of delivery.

Examples of major defects may include:

  • Significant holes
  • Tears
  • Severe stitching or weaving defects
  • Major damage occurring before or during delivery
  • Incorrect product supplied
  • Material deviation from the confirmed order specification

Minor variations arising from the handmade nature of Sujni are not considered defects.

4. Defective or Damaged Products

If you believe that your product has a major defect or was damaged during transportation, please contact AMTUL SUJNI within 48 hours of receiving the order.

Please provide:

  • Order ID
  • Customer name
  • Description of the problem
  • Clear photographs of the product
  • Photographs of the packaging, where relevant
  • Photographs of the shipping label, where relevant

The product should remain unused and in the condition in which it was received, unless the defect could only reasonably be identified through normal inspection.

Our team will review the claim and determine the appropriate resolution.

5. Refund for Approved Claims

If AMTUL SUJNI approves a refund, the refund will normally be made to the original payment method.

Approved refunds will generally be processed within 7 business days after the refund has been approved.

The time required for the refund to appear in the customer's account may vary depending on the customer's bank, card issuer or payment provider.

6. Order Cancellation

Orders may be cancelled within 24 hours of purchase, provided production or customization has not commenced and the order has not been dispatched.

Approved cancellations made within this period will generally qualify for a full refund.

After 24 hours, cancellation may not be possible if production, customization or dispatch has already started.

For customized or made-to-order products, once production has commenced, the order may not be cancellable except where required by applicable law or otherwise agreed by AMTUL SUJNI.

7. Sale & Promotional Products

Products purchased under a sale, clearance, promotional or final-sale offer are generally not eligible for return or exchange, except in cases of a verified manufacturing defect, incorrect product, or where otherwise required by applicable law.

8. Handmade Product Variations

AMTUL SUJNI products are handcrafted. Therefore, slight variations in:

  • Colour
  • Texture
  • Weaving
  • Stitching
  • Pattern placement
  • Thickness
  • Dimensions
  • Finishing

may occur from one piece to another.

These characteristics are part of the individuality and authenticity of handmade Sujni and do not qualify as a defect or reason for return.

9. Return Authorization

Customers must obtain approval from AMTUL SUJNI before returning any product.

Do not send a product back without receiving return instructions from our team.

Unauthorized returns may not be accepted or processed.

10. Return Shipping

Where a return is approved because AMTUL SUJNI supplied an incorrect product or a verified manufacturing defect exists, AMTUL SUJNI will determine the appropriate return-shipping arrangement.

For customer-requested returns that are approved as an exception, the customer may be responsible for return shipping and applicable customs, duties, taxes or other charges.

For international returns, any import duties, customs charges, brokerage fees, taxes or other non-refundable charges may be the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise required by applicable law.

Customers are responsible for checking:

  • Product measurements
  • Size information
  • Custom measurements
  • Colour selection
  • Personalization details
  • Delivery address
  • Contact information

before confirming an order.

AMTUL SUJNI cannot be held responsible for an issue caused by incorrect information supplied by the customer.
